The REMBE® Q-Rohr®-3 is the latest generation of indoor explosion venting products from REMBE®, the inventors of ‘flameless venting’.

The Q-Rohr®-3 is a proven reliable explosion protection venting system that was designed and engineered after extensive research and development.

The Q-Rohr®-3 is the most innovative and efficient flameless venting product available in the explosion protection market.

The most consistent demand from our customers is the need for an explosion protection system that limits flame and dust propagation to a point where the protection system can be used indoors. The Q-Rohr®-3 guarantees indoor explosion venting without any flame and combustible dust propagation. With minimal operational costs, the Q-Rohr® -3 offers the most economical solution for explosion protection, while ensuring that efficient production is maintained.

The Q-Rohr®-3 has been designed with customers in mind:

The Q-Rohr®-3 has been proven to meet all of these demands and more:

The Q-Rohr®-3 system meets NFPA codes, and is approved in accordance with EU regulations (ATEX). Q-Rohr®-3 is FM approved.

The Q-Rohr®-3 consists of an integrated REMBE® rupture disc which vents the explosion wave in a controlled manner within the Q-Rohr®-3 assembly.

Flame gases with temperatures higher than 1500° C (2,732° F) are cooled down to less than 90° C (195° F) via energy transfer within the specially developed stainless steel mesh filter inlet. This cooling reduces the expanding gas volume as it extinguishes the flame. Combustible dust retention is guaranteed by the mesh filter, ensuring that no burnt or un-burnt combustible dust particles pass through the Q-Rohr®-3 assembly. Additionally, the pressure rise and increased noise level are significantly reduced to negligible levels compared with those associated with explosion venting that occurs freely.

After an explosion event, the Q-Rohr®-3 is immediately reusable following cleaning and replacement of the REMBE® Rupture disc assembly.

The Q-Box II flame quenching explosion venting system is an economic and flexible solution that can be used in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications, including filters, combustible dust collectors and elevators. When used indoors, it dispenses with the headaches of positioning complex, cumbersome and expensive vent ducting.

The rectangular shape of the Q-Box II, available in two sizes, complements the dimensions of standard rupture panels, so the Q-Box II can easily be used for retrofitting existing explosion protection system installations.

The Q-Box II effectively absorbs flame and heat emissions allowing for indoor installation and positioning of equipment.

The Q-Box II is a great safety system solution for indoor equipment explosion protection, such as elevators, when compared to frequently poorly designed and inefficient vent ducts.
